Should you wish to contact us with any queries, you may use the “Contact Us” section of our website. For such contact, you must provide, among other things, your email address to let us know who is asking for information and to enable us to answer your questions. You may add additional personal data. Personal data provided to us in this way (e.g. name, address etc) is provided by your free will. We stress that any data transfer between us via the internet (such as by e-mail) may never be totally safe and a third party’s access to that data may never totally be excluded. The processing of your personal data is lawful in accordance with Art 6, sec.1, 1st sentence, paragraph (a), GDPR due to the consent given by you when submitting the Contact Us request.
The data processed by SDI following your Contact Us inquiry will be periodically and permanently deleted by SDI, except where a business relationship results from such an inquiry.
Use of the “Subscribe” section of our website
Should you wish to receive information regarding SDI’s new products, promotions, dental events, news etc, you may use the “Subscribe” section of our website. To allow us to provide this information, you must provide, among other things, your email address. You may add additional personal data. Personal data provided to us in this way (e.g. name, address etc) is provided by your free will. We stress that any data transfer between us via the internet (such as by e-mail) may never be totally safe and a third party’s access to that data may never totally be excluded.
The processing of your personal data is lawful in accordance with Art 6, sec.1, 1st sentence, paragraph (a), GDPR due to the consent given by you when making this request via the “Subscribe” section of our website.

General Remarks
In connection with our businesses we only store or process the following personal data (the following comments don’t apply to the personal data we store or process about our employees for employment-related purposes):
- The personal data of natural persons in a business or contractual relationship with us. In this case, we only store and process your personal data to fulfil our contractual obligations and to improve our relationship with you.
- The personal data of employees in charge of undertakings and legal entities (for example, companies) with a business or contractual relationship with us. In this case, we only store and process your personal data to fulfil our contractual obligations and to improve our relationship with you.
- If and in so far as you contact us or one of our employees. In this case, we will only store and process the personal data that you voluntarily provide to us.
- If and in so far as a private email is addressed to you from an SDI email address. In this case, we are not able to avoid that, at the very least, your email address and any personal data provided during the communication being temporarily stored on an SDI Server. SDI will only store such data and will not process it in any way. Regarding the legitimate interests of our employees in using SDI’s email accounts, we are of the opinion that such storing without control or processing is not overridden by your interests and therefor lawful under Art. 6, sec.1 paragraph (f), GDPR, bearing in mind that most private addressees are aware of and would usually consent to such storing, without further processing, when corresponding with a business e-mail address.
We will process all data that you – or any third party in connection with our contractual relationship with you –provide to us, but only to fulfil our contractual obligations and to improve our relationship with you, and we will always take account of, and obey, all legal requirements and provisions.
